The braid is so tight and uniform, it makes the whole rewiring job look intentional and polished. The white is a true bright white, not off-white, which matched my vintage fittings perfectly. I’ve already ordered more for the next lamp.

The twisted silk has a nice, subtle sheen that makes the white look almost pearl-like on the lamp. Sold by the metre meant I could order exactly what I needed, and it's braided so well there's no fraying at the cut ends.
