What separates these sockets and switches is that first they comprise of a sturdy single piece of flat, cast brass, rounded at the edges, and second, the stunning aged brass finish, which is a little less shiny and twinkly than most finishes. Super robust and really lovely. The mechanism has a lovely 'click' and, like the plate is built to last a lifetime, well...hopefully several.
