Bokhara, et indviklet og levende design, der trækker på den rige historie fra den gamle Silkevej. Inspireret af de frodige tekstiler fra ørkenoaserne i Bokhara, Samarkand og Kashgar i det 19. århundrede blev dette mønster første gang introduceret i GP&J Baker-arkivet i 1906.
The blush tone shifts subtly in different light, and the gathered Bokhara pattern feels almost like a miniature tapestry when lit from within. It's transformed my plain reading corner into something far more exotic, and the stitching on the binding is impressively neat.
The linen has a lovely weight to it and the blush base really makes the Bokhara pattern feel softer than photos suggest. I hung it over our dining table and the light glows through the gathered fabric beautifully in the evenings.
The blush ground tones down the busy Silk Road pattern beautifully, so it reads as elegant rather than loud in my living room. The 25cm gather sits perfectly over my table lamp, and the linen texture catches the light in a way that photos honestly don't capture.
