16cm Empire-Schirm aus blockbedruckter Baumwolle in Tempelrot

The faint scent of dye when I unpacked it told me this was truly handcrafted, and the temple red is even richer in person. It casts a warm, soft glow that makes my reading corner feel like a little Jaipur retreat.

The hand-printed blocks are so crisp you can see the artisan’s press marks up close, and the cotton diffuses light into a warm, soft glow that makes my reading nook feel like a small Jaipur evening. I keep catching myself just staring at the temple red pattern instead of actually working.

Got this to replace a tired old shade and the hand-printed pattern has this lovely uneven quality to it, definitely not machine-printed. The cotton lets just enough light through to make the whole room feel soft and warm at dusk.
