Bokhara, ein kunstvolles und lebendiges Design, das auf der reichen Geschichte der alten Seidenstraße basiert. Inspiriert von den üppigen Textilien der Wüstenoasen von Buchara, Samarkand und Kaschgar aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, wurde dieses Muster erstmals 1906 in das GP&J Baker-Archiv aufgenommen.
The pattern is so intricate and vibrant that it instantly dresses up a plain room—keeps catching my eye every time I walk past. The 16cm size fits my bedside lamp perfectly and the gathered linen gives it a soft, tailored look.
The linen has a lovely, almost textured feel to it, and that vibrant pattern transforms the whole corner of my room once the lamp is switched on. I was worried it might look too busy, but the gathered shade gives it a soft, elegant drape that feels really high-end.
The pattern detail really pops once it’s over a bulb—those rich Silk Road colors shift nicely in the light. I put it on a small bedside lamp and the 16cm size is perfect, not too bulky but it makes the whole corner feel warmer.
