The stripes are so crisp and clean when the light shines through, that French blue really pops against the white card. It’s got a bit of a handmade wobble to the lines that makes it feel special rather than machine-printed, and the 50cm size is perfect over our dining table.
The hand-painted brushstrokes give it so much character up close—each stripe feels one-of-a-kind, not machine-perfect. The French blue against the crisp card is even more striking in person, and it casts a lovely warm glow when lit.
The brushstroke detail is what sold me—it’s got that handmade charm without looking sloppy, and the French blue pops beautifully against the cream card. The 50cm size feels substantial but not overpowering on my side table. Already getting compliments on the crisp, graphic shape.
