Please do not remove me from your basket - unless you are absolutely sure you do not need me! I am required to ensure that your light fitting works and is as desired. I am used to hold the pendant shade to fittings and fitting kits. Without me, you won't be able to hang your lovely new Pooky pendant up!
The stepped shape adds a nice subtle detail, though the chrome is a bit of a fingerprint magnet. It holds the pendant shade securely once you figure out the orientation.
I was a bit surprised at how sturdy the chrome gallery is—it holds the pendant shade much more securely than my last fitting. The only small drawback is the finish shows fingerprints easily, but otherwise it does exactly what it's supposed to for the light.
The chrome finish is very reflective and looks good, but the gallery itself feels a bit lighter than I expected when handling it. It holds the pendant shade securely enough for my light fitting, though I wish the internal threading was a touch smoother. Does the job, but not quite the premium feel I was hoping for.
