Cet abat-jour d'un rouge écarlate magnifiquement riche est un pur théâtre en velours de soie - des plis luxueux et veloutés qui captent la lumière comme un rideau de scène juste avant le début du spectacle. Il est audacieux, somptueux, et assurément pas timide. Délicieusement doublé de soie dorée (comme s'il vous en fallait plus… !)
I was half expecting the scarlet to feel flat under dim light, but those pleats genuinely catch and hold shadows like a stage curtain. It turned my reading corner into the most dramatic spot in the house, and the 30cm size sits perfectly over my table lamp without overwhelming it.

The velvet is so plush that it almost feels like fabric you'd find on a high-end gown, and the pleats really do cast those dramatic shadows across the room. Took off one star because the shade arrived slightly crushed on one edge from shipping, though it did fluff out pretty well after a day.
