Comme tant de belles histoires, celle-ci commence avec une table jonchée de blocs de bois et le léger parfum de teinture dans l'air. Imprimé à la main à Jaipur, chaque motif est pressé individuellement sur du coton doux - aucun n'est tout à fait identique, et c'est là tout le charme.

Le rouge est profond et terreux, quelque part entre la terre cuite et la grenade, avec un rythme qui semble presque architectural. Il a de la présence, certes... mais aussi de la chaleur. Le genre d'abat-jour qui donne à une pièce une atmosphère riche, composée et merveilleusement vivante.
