The stripes are so crisp and clean when the light shines through, that French blue really pops against the white card. It’s got a bit of a handmade wobble to the lines that makes it feel special rather than machine-printed, and the 50cm size is perfect over our dining table.
The hand-painted brushstrokes give it so much character up close—each stripe feels one-of-a-kind, not machine-perfect. The French blue against the crisp card is even more striking in person, and it casts a lovely warm glow when lit.
