I was a bit nervous the denim shade would clash with my cream walls, but the gathered cotton has a soft, lived-in richness that anchors the whole room. The 20cm size fits my table lamp perfectly and gives off a warm, diffused glow.
The pattern on the cotton is even more striking in person, that seaweed motif looks almost like it’s moving when the light catches it. It fits my 20cm lamp base perfectly and instantly made the whole corner feel more pulled-together.
