遊び心あふれるシャンデリア。Zapperは、細い天然木のスラットを何層にも重ねて作られ、それぞれの端はきれいに丸められ、温かみのある真鍮のリングから吊り下げられています。リズムと動きの素敵な感覚を生み出しています。それらの小さな木片には、どこか心地よい親しみがあります。列に並べると、きちんと整理されたアイスキャンディーの棒のストックのように見えます。スイッチを入れると、光が層を通して優しく濾過され、柔らかく温かい輝きを放ち、リラックスした、陽気で、ほんの少しノスタルジックな気分にさせてくれます。
The slender wood slats are so tactile, I keep running my fingers along the rounded ends while I read under it. It throws the softest, most pleasant shadows on the ceiling, and the whole thing feels lighter than it has any right to be for how solid it looks.
The warm brass rings against the natural wood give it a mid-century feel that’s way more playful in person than in photos. The rounded slat ends catch the light beautifully when the bulbs are on. It took a bit to hang, but the layered look is worth the extra effort.
