The hand-carved linocut texture really comes through in the linen – you can almost feel the artist's strokes when you run your fingers across the shade. It throws such a warm, soft glow when lit, and the azura blue pops beautifully against the cream fabric.
The little sprigs of jasmine across the linen look almost hand-drawn up close, and the 16cm empire shape throws just the right warm glow over my side table. It’s delicate but not precious, exactly the cheerful pop of color I was hoping for.
