Bokhara to misterny i żywy wzór, czerpiący z bogatej historii starożytnego Jedwabnego Szlaku. Inspirowany bujnymi tkaninami pustynnych oaz Buchary, Samarkandy i Kaszgaru z XIX wieku, wzór ten po raz pierwszy trafił do archiwum GP&J Baker w 1906 roku.
The blush tone shifts subtly in different light, and the gathered Bokhara pattern feels almost like a miniature tapestry when lit from within. It's transformed my plain reading corner into something far more exotic, and the stitching on the binding is impressively neat.
The linen has a lovely weight to it and the blush base really makes the Bokhara pattern feel softer than photos suggest. I hung it over our dining table and the light glows through the gathered fabric beautifully in the evenings.
