We love our hand painted shades. Each one is unique, and somehow the little imperfections in the paint work, and the slightly mottled look, add to the...well... perfection. Achingly simple, and in no way showy or brash, these gorgeous shades will feel at home in almost any environment.
I was a little nervous the hand-painted finish would look uneven in person, but the mottled effect is actually what makes it feel so special. At 16cm it's the perfect size for my bedside table, and the gold scallops catch the light in a way that photos just don't do justice.
