A chandelier with a rather glamorous side. Cordelia is made from tiers of smooth alabaster discs, each one gently veined and naturally unique, creating a layered cascade that feels both elegant and a little bit theatrical. Suspended from warm brass bands and chain, it has a lovely sense of movement and texture...even before the lights come on.
The alabaster discs are beautifully veined and each one feels unique, which gives the whole piece a lot of character. It casts such a soft, warm glow in our dining room that dinner guests keep commenting on it. Even the installation was easier than I expected for something this layered.
The way the light filters through those thin alabaster discs is honestly stunning, and each tier seems to have its own subtle veining. It took a bit to hang with two people, but the layered cascade effect was totally worth the effort.
