The colour is deeper and richer than most candles I've bought, and the slow drip creates a lovely, uneven texture on the holders. We lit two for a midweek dinner and the whole room felt properly warm and intimate without being overpowering.
The dripping effect is exactly what I hoped for—it gives the table that moody, lived-in warmth without looking messy. These burn slow enough to last through a full dinner and then some, and the red is deeper and richer in person.
I was a bit worried the red would look too bright, but it’s a deep, dusky shade that makes the whole dining table feel instantly warmer. Lit all six for a dinner party and the slow, gentle dripping added this lovely rustic character to the room.
