Tuffley designades i mitten av 1800-talet och skapades ursprungligen för klädtextilier, vilket speglar tidens växande fascination för naturmotiv. Denna design, som i designstudion går under kodnamnet 'tång', fångar essensen av organiska former och naturinspirerad skönhet.
The denim cotton has a lovely texture that feels more like fabric than a typical shade, and the 35cm width throws a soft, even glow across the whole room. It took a few minutes to fit onto my lamp base, but once it was on, the gathered pleats looked sharp and neat.
The pleats catch the light beautifully and the gathered cotton feels substantial, not flimsy at all. It throws a warm, diffused glow in my living room that makes the whole space feel cozier. I’ve already ordered a second one for the hallway.
The fabric has a lovely vintage texture that catches the light just right, and the 35cm width fits my bedside table perfectly. It took me a while to find a shade with real character, and this one's botanical pattern feels like a proper antique.
