The red is a deep, rich shade that looks beautiful against my brass fittings, and the silk twist feels so much more substantial than standard plastic cord. Exactly what I needed to finish the lamp.
I needed exactly 2.5 metres for a vintage lamp rewire, and the twisted silk texture feels sturdy yet flexible enough to thread through tight spaces. The braiding is tight and consistent, so it looks clean on the finished fixture.
The red is even richer in person than on screen, and the silk feels genuinely substantial—much nicer than the standard fabric-covered stuff I've used before. Perfect for the vintage-style lamp I'm rewiring.
