The shade casts the prettiest soft light—the green-blue of that Tuffley cotton is even richer in person, like looking at old botanical prints. I keep catching myself staring at the seaweed pattern instead of reading.

The fabric has that lovely 19th-century print feel, and the 16cm size fits perfectly on my bedside lamp without overwhelming the table. The green-blue tones bring a calm, botanical touch to the room.

The green-blue tones shift beautifully in lamplight, almost like looking at pressed seaweed under glass. It’s smaller than I pictured but that made it perfect for my reading corner, and the cotton fabric has a lovely, subtle texture up close.
