We don't do plastic flex at Pooky. No. Instead - Three Core twisted or braided silk flex in a range of classy colours. That's more like it. Sold by the metre (i.e. Enter Quantity needed and it will be sent out in 1 cut of that metreage). Please note our flex is cut to order and therefore non-refundable.
The braid is so tight and uniform, it makes the whole rewiring job look intentional and polished. The white is a true bright white, not off-white, which matched my vintage fittings perfectly. I’ve already ordered more for the next lamp.
The braided texture gives it a lovely handmade feel, and the white is a clean, bright contrast against dark walls. I ordered three metres for a pendant lamp and the round profile threaded through the ceiling rose without any fuss. Exactly what I wanted for a proper, non-plastic finish.
The twisted silk has a nice, subtle sheen that makes the white look almost pearl-like on the lamp. Sold by the metre meant I could order exactly what I needed, and it's braided so well there's no fraying at the cut ends.
