We don't do plastic flex at Pooky. No. Instead - Three Core twisted or braided silk flex in a range of classy colours. That's more like it. Sold by the metre (i.e. Enter Quantity needed and it will be sent out in 1 cut of that metreage). Please note our flex is cut to order and therefore non-refundable.
The braided silk texture feels far more substantial than the usual plastic-coated stuff, and the fresh grey is a lovely muted tone that blends into my vintage lamp base. I ordered by the metre and the length arrived exactly as cut, no fiddly surprises.
The grey is a proper dusty shade, not too blue or warm, and it’s got that subtle sheen silk gives off under a lamp. I ordered by the metre and it arrived cut cleanly, no fraying at the ends.
The braided silk texture is so much nicer than any plastic cord I've dealt with, and the grey has a subtle depth that works with my vintage lamps. I ordered three metres and it twisted neatly into place without kinking.
