The twisted silk texture feels so much richer than any plastic cord I've worked with, and the orange has a lovely depth that pops against brass fixtures. Cut the metre I needed and it stayed perfectly neat with no fraying at the ends.

Braided rather than twisted was the right call—it lays flat against the wall nicely. The silk texture feels properly old-school, not like the plasticky cords I've had before. Got exactly the metres I typed in, which is handy when you're working out a lamp project.

The orange is even richer in person, and the silk braid feels lovely and substantial compared to the plasticky stuff I’ve seen elsewhere. Ordered by the metre and the length came exactly as needed for my lamp project, so no waste.
