I’ve been rewiring a vintage lamp and this twisted silk flex feels so much nicer to handle than the plastic stuff I used before—it bends smoothly and doesn’t fight you. The orange is vibrant and warm, exactly what I wanted to brighten up the cord.

The twisted silk has a lovely, subtle sheen that catches the light just right—much classier than the plastic cord I’ve used before. It’s soft and flexible to work with, and the orange is a rich, warm tone that really pops against a brass fitting.

I needed exactly 3.7 metres for a lampshade project and the twisted silk texture feels beautifully substantial when you handle it, unlike any plastic cord I've worked with before. The orange is a proper grown-up shade that doesn't scream at you, and cutting it to length was clean with no fraying.
